Well I’m up in Birmingham Michigan right now for the next two weeks doing freelance work on a 2 week trial for this company called Speedshape. And if all goes well…full time job baby! I really love it up here. The weather is a little goofy, but the work is really cool, and the people are some of the nicest I’ve ever worked with. Plus…my best friend Andrew lives 20 minutes away! So cool.

Oh and also…a little cool tidbit for all you horror geeks out there…Birmingham Michigan is the hometown of both Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi! How cool is that?!?! I’m walking to work on the same streets that they grew up on! I’m in a cold snowy paradise. haha.

Anyways, I can’t say what I’m working on because of all these secrecy agreements…BUT…I can tell you that it’s some pretty freakin’ cool stuff. I’m having to learn a whole new compositing system, NUKE, and even though it’s hard and confusing at times…I’m loving it.

Well my day is almost over, but I just wanted to say hello and update you all with what’s been going on with me! And for John…Good luck with the Rhythm and Hues apprenticeship man! I’m sorry I decided not to come, but I know you’re going to kick some ass!
