the goo roo

Gidget “aka the Goo” is chasing the Roomba, and Roxy “aka the Roo” is chasing Gidge. All after getting a total of 8 shots this morning. I thought getting shots and a thermometer shoved up your butt would put a damper on the fun you had for the rest of the day. But not the kids. Personally I would be curled up into a ball rocking back and forth in the corner. The good news is though that both Roxy and the Goo are very healthy. No kitty aids in this family.

We had our first night shoot the other day. 6pm to 5am. And Jess and I were exhausted by the time we got back. Luckily all the stuff that was shot really was worth the wait. It’s looking really good. But I just have to ask, why can’t someone…somewhere…just write a movie that takes place between Noon and 5. On a Wednesday. With no child actors. And most of the movie would just be about eating lunch in a nice temperature controlled room. Oh that would be the life. But most likely boring. Oh well. To live is to dream.

We have another day shoot at 5:30, but it’s going to be a really easy day. We’re just doing a sky replacement and a possible cornfield extension. But it’ll be a really good shot.

Anyway’s, that’s about it. We’re going to see Pirates 2 tonight, and I can’t wait. It’s been over 3 years since I saw that first one, but I loved it. Oh nostalgia. I think it was during Christmas. I’ll stop rambling. But I’ll let you all know how it is. Talk to you later.
