the death star, slusho, and digg
I’m going on back home to Indiana for Thanksgiving. So I won’t be posting until next Monday. That being the case, here’s a bunch of links that’ll hopefully tide you over until then.
First off, this goes out to all you Linux users out there. Behold…the ILM Death Star.

Is that the Imperial logo on the side of the machines? I think so…awesome.
The second link comes from the world of Flickr, and is slowly but surely making it’s way across the web. This is reportedly leaked concept footage for the Monster from J.J. Abrams “Cloverfield“.

And now I take you to the blog of Greg Beeman, Director/Producer of “Heroes”. It’s called Beaming Beeman. And the title really reminds me of that show “Beakman’s World.” Anyone remember that show? Anyways, scroll towards the bottom of the page and you’ll see a little photo essay of all the cast drinking “Slusho”. A drink/company that’s tied to “Cloverfield”. Greg Grunberg, the actor who plays Matt Parkmen and childhood friend of J.J. Abrams, is supposed to be in “Cloverfield”. So I’m guessing that’s why the drink appeared in Monday’s episode. Link.

Anyways, the pictures are pretty funny and just down right cool since it’s all tied to the “Abrams Universe”. An even despite Slusho it’s just a really cool blog that goes behind the scenes of each episode of “Heroes.” So if you’re a fan, you’ll dig it.
And speaking of Digg, Digg your candidates! Check out Ron Paul’s tally for a good laugh. As of this morning it’s twice the amount of the Democratic front runner Barak Obama. God I hope Dr. Paul gets into the Primaries. Keep your fingers crossed people!
Alright, well that should do it! I have to finish up a bunch of work quickly so I can hopefully leave a few minutes early. We’re driving down tonight, and I really don’t want to role into town too late. So I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving, and enjoy the food! Because remember, tomorrow is an entire day all about a meal that was SO good that we’ve been celebrating it for hundreds of years. And thus…the meaning of Thanksgiving.
Be back on Monday!
