I’ve been on the phone with the Delta Baggage Offices for the past week and that’s all I’ve heard. No helpful sentences like, “We found it! It’s been 2 weeks but we’ve finally found your bag!”, or “Here’s what you need to do…”. It’s pretty ridiculous. But I did have fun describing the contents of my luggage to a guy in India today who was trying to put on his best cowboy accent. Here’s how that conversation went…”
“Um…there was a laptop, some clothes and some DVD’s.”
“Ok, what color?”
“Of what?”
“Of the laptop.”
“Oh, um it was silvery grey”
“Ok, and what color were the clothes?”
“All of them?”
“Yes sir.”
“Ok, there was some white t-shirts, a green t-shirt, a grey t-shirt, a black collared shirt, a red one too, umm…a bunch of different colors. Some socks and underwear too…”
“Ok, thank you sir. And what CD’s did you have?”
“DVD’s?”
“Yes sir.”
“Ok, there was a Lord of the Rings ‘Return of the King’, and a Battlestar Galactica box set.”
“Lord of the King and Battleship Metallica.”
“Ha, um no a ‘BattleSTAR GalacTICA‘.”
“Ok, Battlebar Galact. Please hold sir.”
“Ummm…”
10 Minutes later…
“Ok, thank you for holding. I’ve entered your information into the system, but I would like to inform you we do not cover electronics in your lost luggage claim.”
“Wait, what?”
“Electronics are not covered.”
“Fantastic.”
“Please call back tomorrow and we’ll have more information tomorrow. Thank you for calling Delta Airlines…”
And so on and so on…
So now I’m supposed to call back tomorrow and see if they’ve found it yet. Fingers crossed but something tells me I’m not really working with the A team here. (Insert Mr. T joke here). Anywho, today is an errands day so I’m off to Walmart. I hope everyone is doing well! It’s 70 and sunny here today with a nice cool breeze. Awesome.

Man that sux. That’s happened a bunch of times and because of that I always carry my laptop with me. And if I had Galactica DVD’s I’d never let anyone else touch them.
