As of this Tuesday, ‘Baby Blues’ is wrapped on principle photography. It’s crazy, It went by much faster than I thought it would. I guess that’s just because I remember how long the ‘Golden Goodbye’ shoot felt. That movie damn near killed me. But this shoot didn’t leave me feeling exhausted and a sick. I feel excited and ready for more! Which is a very good thing, because it’s really not over. I still have 2 1/2 months of post work to do. And I can’t wait to get started. I’m getting the footage in the next week or so, and then it’s full speed ahead. I feel good.

To shift gears (you’ll get the pun in a second), we went and saw ‘Talladega Nights – Ballad of Ricky Bobby’ this weekend. (get it? oh ya.) Anyways, it was good. But not nearly as funny as the trailer was. ‘Clerks II’ on the other hand was better than I could have hoped for. We saw it for the second time this weekend with my buddy John, who was in town for the shoot. It was freakin’ hilarious. Go see it, and see how good a movie can be with only 5 million behind it.

Anyways, that’s about all that’s been going on. It’s after 4am so I better be getting to bed. Oh! Speaking of…after the Goo popped our air matress…again…we bought a memory foam bed. I haven’t slept this well in years man. Worth every penny. I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on a freakin’ air matress for over 2 years. Never again…never again (whimper).

p.s. Apparently our lead actress is going to be in the ‘Transformers’ movie coming out next year. Crazy…
