impossible mission force
No joke, that’s seriously what IMF stands for in the Mission Impossible movies. Which, surprisingly, did not suck what so ever. I was actually pretty good. And it’s all thanks to J.J. Abrams. Why you ask? Well MI:3 is basically a feature length episode of ALIAS. Which I happen to love. So that was a very good thing. And besides that, the visual effects where absolutely mind blowing. Not because they were so cool, but because they were so good and you never saw them. This flick had twice as many visual effects as War of the Worlds, and you really don’t see any of them. Keep an eye out for two though that were especially well done. The mask of Hoffman scene, and a establishing shot of Tom Cruise on top of a building. It goes from a helicopter shot to a handheld, seamlessly. And I still can’t figure out how they did it. Very cool. So…go and see it. It gets my seal of approval despite the fact that it stars Tom Cruise.
Gidget is getting bigger by the day. It’s so cool to see her grow from a little kitten who couldn’t eat solid foods and barely walk, to a full grown kitten jumping from desk to desk and eating way more food than she should physically be able to. She’s so sweet too, she’s awesome.
Alright I’m going to go lay on the futon. Jess is out with some friends and I miss her. I guess I’ll just get Roxy and Gidge to keep me company. Maybe I’ll watch some Battlestar Galactica? Maybe…night.
