Today was horrible. I came home after sitting through a very boring Scifi literature class, to roxy screaming in pain. We had no idea what was wrong with her. She had just been playing with Gidget, running all around. And then all of a sudden she was screaming louder then I’ve ever heard. We rushed her to the vet and all of a sudden she was fine again. So…apparently she dislocated both of her knee caps in the middle of playing. The doctor said it’s not nearly as bad as it could have been, but it was definitely extremely painful for her. Jess and I were so scared I can’t even tell you. Thankfully though, Roxy will be fine. But she will be out of commission for the next couple weeks while she heals. We got some medicine to give her, so that should help. But if she isn’t back to normal by next week, we’re going to go to her regular vet to get her looked at and a possible surgery.
