Ok now this just really freaked me out. The story goes…a few days ago I woke up at 7:30 to go to a 9am meeting for Baby Blues. I ate a muffin, I gave the pets their food and I sat down to check my email. 1 new message popped up on the screen. And to my surprise…it’s from Doug Hogan. Well…another Doug Hogan. He went on to write that he found my site the other day and that he too loves Zombie movies, and has done a few with some friends. This just fascinated me. So I went to his site and checked them out and I must say, they were not bad at all. He even had one called ‘Zombie Deity’ about a Zombie Jesus, which needless to say, made me laugh. Anyway, I wrote him back and told pretty much what I just wrote above, and then I finished the email by saying jokingly that if he “has a girlfriend named Jess too, then I’m really freaked out.” And yep, you guessed it…turns out he does! Classes have started and one has already ended, because I finally decided to drop my minor. It sucks that I only had 2 more classes left, but god it felt like a long time coming. I just couldn’t devote any of the little time I have away from ‘Baby Blues’ and to an Avid editing class. I mean, come on. I really liked the teacher, and I know I would have enjoyed that aspect of the class. But the second he revealed that we were going to be editing together a water conservation ad for the state of georgia, I made up my mind that I was out of there. So…goodbye Hamilton Hall. I’ll send you a postcard.
‘Baby Blues’ is in full swing. We start filming on the 27th and I really can’t wait to get started. Once again, though I can’t say much, I really just can’t say enough about how great the cast, crew, and story is. It’s going to be such a great experience to work with all these professionals that have been doing this longer than I have even been alive. But now I’m feeling a little repetitive so I’ll stop there.
