Well right now as I type, I have an extremely cute kitten in my lap. She’s only about 4 weeks old, and is just so sweet. Jess and I found her after she had been saved from drowning, so we just couldn’t say no to giving her a good home. We’ve only had her for about a week now, but I love her already. Roxy and her and becoming fast friends.

My mind has just been all over the place lately, and I don’t know why. It’s probably just from lack of sleep. Gidge is cute, but she also needs allot of attention right now. Especially at 3am. Bottle feedings and taking her to her litter box. I swear it’s just like having a baby…with a tail and claws. Or maybe it’s from the ghost I heard this morning. I know, I know. I really don’t believe in ghosts either, but this morning I was in the shower and I swear that I heard a woman’s voice say ‘Help’. It was creepy, and ever since I’ve felt weirded out all day. Message from the other side? Who knows. Once again, it was probably just from lack of sleep.

I’ve been listening to allot of Pete Yorn lately. I just got his ‘Live from New Jersey’ album, and I’ve been listening to it on a loop. I forgot how much I love his music. I missed it. It brings me right back to my High School years.

It’s been pretty hot all day and Jess and my class got canceled, so we headed down to get some ice cream at Leopold’s. Soooo good. I highly recommend the Chocolate and Strawberry Swirl. Delicious.

Anyway, that’s really it for now. And it looks like it’s going to storm. That’ll be nice. I’m in the mood for rain. I’ll post some pictures of Gidge soon. Until then…
