…The Nino! Did you see that one coming? Classic.
So did you hear the good news?! Well if not, you should really tune into to our good friends over at Fox News. Because according to them, the reason why it’s been so hot lately, isn’t because of this ‘Global Warming’ mumbo-jumbo…it’s because of El Nino! Remember El Nino? Well I don’t know about you but boy am I relieved.
I mean, here I was thinking that we’re two shakes away from the horrendous amounts of carbon-dioxide in our atmosphere to finally trap enough heat to melt all that good for nothing ice in our north and south poles, shifting the salinization point in our oceans enough to shut down the warming currents in the Atlantic and effectively pushing us into another ice-age. But whew….I’m just so glad that was all just left wing liberal bullshit. And here I was looking forward to all that snow. Oh I miss snow.
Anyway, it’s 2 weeks away from my month long trip up to Ottawa and I’m getting pretty excited! I got my passport in the mail today, my plane ticket and hotel reservations are underway, and I’m reading up on my good old friend Shake 4. God I hate Shake. Anybody who’s ever worked with it, and then worked with a layer based Compositing program knows what I’m talking about. Simple things are just made wayyyy too complicated. But oh well. I’m just happy to have the gig. And plus, now I get to at long last work on a Dinosaur film! Which is something I’ve wanted to do since I was 8 and saw Jurassic Park. It’s going to be pretty cool.
Maybe I’ll see snow up in Canada…
Jess and Roxy are on there way back today and I can’t wait for them to get back. It’s been just me and the Goo for a month and a half and I think we’re both going a little stir crazy. So I can’t wait! And especially because Jess is a great cook, and I won’t have to live off of pizza anymore. At least not for a couple weeks until my trip.
