Now I don’t know how I got here. Honestly, I don’t really even know where here is just yet. But here I am. Sitting in a HUGE two bedroom, two bath, amazing apartment in Rochester, Michigan. And starting my “first” day of work at Speedshape tomorrow. Which I’m really excited about. And now all I have to do is wait 2 weeks and then Jess and Roxy will be moved up here as well! Then everything will be complete.

But I just have to say…this whole grown up financial independence thing is just plain weird. I had this weird moment while laying in bed, and being surrounded by boxes, when I realized that Jess and I did this all on our own. Which once again…is just weird!

I don’t know what is wrong with me though, but whenever good things like this happen, I just keep waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under me. I guess all I can do is hope that all this good stuff is just the reward for working hard and paying my dues.

Anyways, I’ll let you all know how work goes tomorrow. Hopefully it will go as well as it did over the two weeks I was there earlier in the month. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Alright, I’m exhuasted. It took me 21 hours with the UHaul to get up here, so I’m going to go take a nap. Talk you soon….
