almostthere

This has by far been the most exhausting quarter I’ve ever had here at SCAD. I’ve done 2 films, and I’m getting ready to film another. All while finishing up the 53 visual effects for Golden Goodbye. But on the brighter side, it has been the most creative quarter too. Not really because I wanted to, but because I was forced. Eh, what ‘cha gonna do.

Anyway, since nothing really new has been going on I guess I should talk about the only other thing worth mentioning. TV. How freakin’ awesome was Battlestar Galactica last friday?! The Pegasus is almost destroyed because of the dad from ‘Home Alone’ and Lee get’s his own ship! Awesome. And how about Lost?! It never fails to top itself every week. Well, at least the weeks that it’s on. This whole two weeks on, one week off thing is really starting to piss me off. But I guess that’s what happens when you have such a huge show like Lost. Sadly though, there isn’t all happy news in TV land. Arrested Development looks like it’s going…going…gone. There have been rumors that Showtime will pick it up, but I really wouldn’t hold my breath. It seems that someone out there is on a vindictive mission to get rid of every show I like. Family Guy (thankfully it came back, but still), Firefly, Scrubs (another show that just barely dodged the ax), Arrested Development. It just is not cool. I personally think it’s just because Americans are morons. In a world where Dancing with the Stars gets big enough ratings for FOX to spawn an unholy love child called, Skating with the Stars. But Arrested Development gets taken to the shed and whacked after winning tons of awards, and is simply just a great show. Only two words can be said…”Come on!”

Ok, I’ve gotten my rant out. It’s time for bed, and time for ‘Alias’…which surprisingly isn’t bad at all. Goodwork J.J. Abrams. Goodwork.

p.s. LOST RULES!!!!
