Damn you all to helllllll!!!!! Couldn’t resist. I saw ‘Cars’ this weekend with a couple friends of mine, and I’m surprised to tell you…it was pretty damn good. I really wasn’t expecting much from it, but Pixar did it again. Good story, good CG, good music, everything. The only thing I could say that I didn’t like was all the previews for other CG movies. They were just horrible. And it’s all because they don’t follow a very simple rule. A good story will make a good movie. That’s it. And I’m amazed at how many companies out there seem to forget that.

In other news, I’m busy getting everything ready for the shoot starting at the end of June. I’ve been buying lots of cool new toys, and I can’t wait to use them. I can’t really say that much about the film because of a confidentiality agreement, but I can say that things are going better then I could have hoped for. Actors are flying in, everyone on the crew is extremely talented, and the locations are all but locked down. And because of all of this, I’m more excited then Kurt Cameron is for the rapture. So though I can’t say much, I’ll try to post as much as I can when we start shooting at the end of the month.

Other than that, I’m spending my 2 weeks before school starts relaxing. And I’m going to need all the rest I can get because I’m mainly going to be doing night shoots, then going immediately to class. So needless to say, I’m going to be tired. But it’s worth it, because I sincerely believe in this film. And it’s because of the people I’m working with on it. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with everyone. And I can’t wait to see what movie comes out of this team. It’s a really good feeling.

Ok, I think I’m going to go watch some TV with my cat. Gidget loves ‘Meerkat Manor’.
